How it all started

One standard. Every location. Nationwide.

Founder Randal Moore opened the first Black Optix Tint in Myrtle Beach, SC in 2014. The idea was simple: run a tint shop the way customers actually want to be treated. Know their name. Explain their options. Do clean work at a fair price. And stand behind every job, every time.

That approach turned one location into a nationwide franchise, now headquartered in West Palm Beach, FL as part of United Franchise Group. Every shop still operates with the same mindset: premium products, trained technicians, and a level of care that keeps people coming back.

    Randal Moore opens the first shop in Myrtle Beach, SC.

    The model proves out and Black Optix Tint begins franchising. Locally owned shops, one brand standard.
